Programme (R2C)
The program supports research-based institutions commercialize innovations through an accelerator program and a cascaded ToT's (training for trainers) who run R2C programs in their institutions to reach more innovators.
The program is funded byForeign Commonwealth Development Officethrough theResearch and Innovation Systems for Africa (RISA)Fund and implemented by ViKtoria Ventures andKenya National Innovation Agency. The R2C Accelerator is designed to fortify the commercialisation process within Kenyan universities and research centres, with an aim of enhancing researchers' capacity and institutional capability in taking research outputs to market.

develoPPP Ventures is aimed at young companies, whose innovative business model improves living conditions in a developing or emerging country and who are planning to scale up. Via a matching-funds model, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) provides a grant of 100,000 euros for suitable growth investments.

UK - Kenya Tech Hub
