About Us

ViKtoria Ventures is a consulting and fund management firm focused on access to finance across Sub-Saharan Africa. We believe that funding should be allocated to the most deserving entrepreneurs solving the most pressing needs in the Continent. All our work is centered around achieving this goal.

On the fund management front, Viktoria has been running the VIktoria Business Angels Network from 2016 to date supporting angels with deal sourcing, capacity building and consulting around access to finance. VBAN has made several investments and is a key part of the Kenyan Startup Ecosystem.

Through running VBAN, we have not only been able to understand investors better but also know what works for entrepreneurs who raise funds successfully and scale their businesses. As a result, all our work is grounded on what works within the ecosystems we are active in.

On the entrepreneur side our work is aimed at supporting entrepreneurs to raise funding. On the investors or funders side we support through provision of services that support deployment of funds. In essence our work is to help providers or capital and entrepreneurs understand each other better and to facilitate transactions between them.

Program Development, Management and Execution

ViKtoria works on a variety of programs focused on entrepreneurs and investors bridging the gap that exists between the two sides by helping both parties communicate better to increase the likelihood of deals closing, creating platforms where the two can meet and finally by promoting value creation and addition which helps both parties to realize impactful and profitable exits.

Fund Management Solutions

ViKtoria manages the ViKtoria Business Angels Network which has made over 10 investments and deployed over USD 1 million to startups that have raised over USD 50 million and created over 1,000 jobs directly and indirectly.

ViKtoria has also worked with several investors and helped them set up and manage their funds in East Africa. ViKtoria would support such funds in deal sourcing, due diligence, deal structuring, investment managing and monitoring and reporting.

Consulting services

ViKtoria engages in various consulting projects centered on access to financing in the African entrepreneurial ecosystem, working with various partners, including entrepreneur support organizations, development finance institutions, private equity and venture capital funds, incubators, accelerators, and entrepreneurs.

ViKtoria offers a range of services, including valuation, due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiations. ViKtoria's approach is underpinned its over 10 years of experience in Africa's entrepreneurial ecosystem and its focus on offering practical solutions that are focused on value addition.
